An ordained Baptist
Minister, Deborah C. Warren founded RAIN in 1992.
Deborah received her Master of Arts from Southern Baptist Theological
Seminary in Louisville, Kentucky, and Clinical Pastoral Education
at Carolinas Medical Center.
She is a recipient of numerous service and leadership awards including:
Jim Oehler Community Service Award; 2002 “Leadership For a
Changing World”; 2003 Finalist Nancy Susan Reynolds award;
Friedricke Merck’s, “For the Greater Good”, a
portrait book of women whose lives are largely defined by helping
others; and profiles on UNC-TV and the June 2006 edition of Charlotte
Woman magazine.

Rev. Champion is an ordained minister
in the Evangelical Anglican Church in America.
He completed both a Master of Religious Education and a Master
of Divinity degree at Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary
in Wake Forest, North Carolina.
Prior to joining RAIN in July 2003 he completed three years of Clinical
Pastoral Education at Carolinas Medical Center, Charlotte and is
also certified in Critical Incident Stress Management.
He is a member of the Cleveland County HIV/AIDS Task Force and
serves as volunteer chaplain at infectious disease clinics in Mecklenburg,
Rowan, and York counties. |

Susan Ingle joined RAIN in June
2008.
She is responsible for donor relations, fundraising, grant writing,
media and public relations, and the organization's publications.
Susan has eight years of fundraising experience, a degree from
the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, and is a member
of the Charlotte chapter of the Association of Fundraising Professionals.
Before coming to RAIN, she served as the Director of Development
for the College of Health and Human Services at UNC Charlotte
where she worked with and built relationships with alumni, friends,
and donors, conducted successful grant applications, developed
a twice yearly newsletter, and planned and initiated the first
alumni events for the College.
Susan is excited about continuing her work in the non-profit
sector and is particularly thrilled to be working for RAIN, a
high-energy organization with a wonderful reputation.

Mr. Jarrell holds an M. Div. from
Baptist Theological Seminary at Richmond and a BA in Music from
Appalachian State and is an accomplished jazz musician.
He has ministerial experience working primarily in African-American
neighborhoods.
He served as Interim Director of Church Hill Christian Wellness
Center in Richmond, Virginia where he was responsible for coordinating
emergency food distribution and a clothing closet, an after-school
program for at-risk youth, and volunteers.
Greg will work primarily with several of our CareTeams as well
as overseeing the Supply Closet, RAINdeer program and the Transportation
CareTeam. |

Rev. Kidd joined
RAIN in 1997.
Debbie is an ordained Baptist Alliance Minister receiving her Master
of Arts from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary in Wake Forest,
N.C.
She has received Clinical Pastoral Education at Carolinas Medical
Center and holds Red Cross Certification in HIV/AIDS and certification
in Critical Incident Stress Management.
Rev. Kidd also received the 2002 “Leadership for a Changing
World” award and was featured in Friedricke Merck’s,
“For the Greater Good”. |

Beverly holds a M.Ed. from the
University of Pittsburgh in Instructional Design and Technology.
She has over twenty years experience in training and management
in the field of education and brings great expertise in technology.
Beverly has a great deal of experience in the business sector,
but is following her desire to work in a non-profit organization
and brings a high level of energy and enthusiasm for her work at
RAIN.

Isy began serving as RAIN’s
Director of Administration in March 2004.
Prior to that, she worked over 20 years in the corporate world,
primarily at Transamerica Life Insurance Companies (in Los Angeles
and Charlotte), where she held various management positions, including
10 years in Employee Benefits Plan Design and Administration and
five years in Annuity Operations.
Isy is fluent is Spanish. She brings strong administrative &
operations experience and significant technical expertise to RAIN.

Reverend Keron R. Sadler earned
her Bachelor of Arts in Religion/Theology from the American Baptist
Theological College, while simultaneously pursuing additional studies
in the MBA program at Tennessee State University. She is a graduate
of Hood Theological Seminary (Salisbury, NC) with a Master in Divinity.
She is currently matriculating at Pfeiffer University pursuing
a second masters in Marriage & Family Therapy. Keron is also
an ordained minister in the A.M.E. Zion church.
She has worked in corporate America for over nineteen years;
and is recognized for her organizational, leadership, verbal
and written communication skills. In addition to her corporate
experience, Keron has exercised her administrative and leadership
gifts by helping to create congregational ministries of excellence
within various churches.
Keron’s passion remains being committed to fulfilling
her divine purpose to serve all people of God’s Kingdom,
by meeting the needs of pastors, pastor’s spouses, church
leaders, lay people and the community-at-large, regardless of
denomination, race, sex or class, through the Ministry of Counseling.

Nathan began serving as RAIN’s
Manager of Community Resources in January 2005.
He has extensive experience in working with non-profit organizations
including Hands On Charlotte and City Year Columbia.
His work is focused on producing successful fundraising and community
events and involves building and sustaining relationships with many
diverse organizations within the community.
He is passionate about giving back to the community and working
for an organization that is making a difference in the lives of
individuals. |
