The long awaited and anxiously-sought "Red Ribbon" AIDS Awareness license plate is now going to become a reality! After the Alliance of AIDS Services, in Raleigh, NC, receives 300 applications and checks for $25 (or $55 for personalized), the DMV will produce and mail out the plates, and we hope that many of us will be driving around with them. We are excited that North Carolina is only one of a small handful of states who has such a plate, and we look forward to using this new venue to remind the public that AIDS is not over.
