World AIDS Day Luncheon
Event Date: Dec 2
Marriott Charlotte City Center
100 W. Trade Street, Uptown
World AIDS Day draws people together from around the world. This is a day of solidarity to pay tribute to the millions of people living with HIV/AIDS. On this day, we raise awareness of the global impact of HIV/AIDS, while celebrating victories that allow more people to live longer and healthier lives.
The CDC estimates that every year, 56,000 Americans become infected with HIV. The federal government defines Mecklenburg Mecklenburg County to be severely and disproportionately affected by HIV disease. Each of us can make an individual contribution to ending the impact of HIV, but when we join together, our impact is forceful.
RAIN invites you to join with other community leaders at A World AIDS Day Luncheon. Your leadership sends a message to Charlotte. It shows that there is a strong community of compassion fighting this disease, and that no one of us is alone.
Sign up to be a host by contacting Joyce Brooks at or 704-973-9819.
